England’s trees, woodland and forests are under pressure. From storms, drought, pests and disease. Here at Forestry England, we’re planting diverse, resilient trees that will help people, wildlife and the climate for generations to come. You can help.
This Christmas, will you donate to help plant a tree for the forests of tomorrow?
A gift of £5 will help our tree planting programme. Thanks to your gift, trees will be planted and nurtured by our team of dedicated experts for years to come.
Thank you.
From seed to forest
Most of the trees we plant at Forestry England are grown in our own nursery in Delamere Forest seed nursery. Each tree started its life as an individual seed that has been grown with care.
Why this matters now
Every tree we plant today will take decades to grow. We need to make sure the trees we plant will survive where they’ve been planted and are suitable for each forest's unique characteristics.
Future Forests
Planting a wider range of species takes time and costs money.
Your gift will help
We have to raise most of the money needed for projects ourselves, with less than 20% of our income coming from core government funding. Your support will help make a difference.
By donating just £5 today, you will help to plant and care for trees that support people, the climate and wildlife for decades to come.
We are currently unable to plant a tree in memory of a loved one, but take a look at our dedication bench programme.
Thank you.
